About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director of Marketing and Communications to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and leading the content strategy across various social media channels, email, and external media to meet the organization's objectives. This role involves producing engaging photo and video content, developing a wide range of media materials, and overseeing day-to-day media operations to ensure that storytelling aligns with business goals. The Executive Director will also be tasked with cultivating media relationships, organizing media opportunities, and developing marketing campaigns to drive fan engagement and revenue. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have 5 to 7 years' of experience in marketing, communications, and/or public relations, with a strong preference for those who are multilingual, particularly in Spanish. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, Google Suite, and WordPress is also preferred. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and relationship skills, as well as the ability to manage a small team and work in a fast-paced, team environment. A background in sports, particularly soccer, is essential, and the candidate must be available to work during all first-team home games, team training sessions, and have a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
