Location: Windsor, CT

Hourly pay rate: Up to $20.60

Job Overview: Join the Amazon warehouse team and play a key role in getting orders ready for our customers. In our fast-paced environment, you will work in various areas such as merchandise handling, customer returns, and general fulfillment. Your responsibilities will include selecting, packing, and shipping orders quickly and efficiently for our lightning-fast delivery services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize inventory
• Prepare customer orders and pack them securely
• Load boxes onto trucks for timely shipment
• Use scanners to accurately read product barcodes
• Follow on-screen prompts for task execution
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Ensure all products meet quality standards
• Operate industrial trucks such as forklifts, with training provided at no cost

You should be able to:

• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Push utility carts weighing up to 60 pounds
• Stand, walk, and bend throughout your shift
• Utilize carts and other equipment for efficient item movement
• Ascend and descend stairs (if applicable)
• Work at heights of up to 40 feet on mezzanines (if applicable)
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards

• Dress Code: Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes; Amazon provides a $110 gift code for footwear on your first day.
