LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Outpatient Surgery for a travel nursing job in Athens, Georgia.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Outpatient Surgery
• Discipline: RN
• Start Date: 12/08/2025
• Duration: 12 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Scheduling & Assignment Requirements

• RTO : Maximum of 7 days
• Weekends : Every other weekend unless otherwise noted
• Floating : Yes, will float to main hospital
• Call Requirements : Yes

Minimum Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted

Patient Population

• Pediatrics through Geriatrics

Certifications Required

• BLS

Clinical Skills & Surgical Case Requirements

Candidate must have experience in the following:

Ambulatory OR Procedures

• Laryngectomy
• Radical neck dissection
• Tonsillectomy / Adenoidectomy
• Tracheostomy
• Appendectomy
• Cholecystectomy
• Colon resection
• Hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical)
• Laparoscopic assisted procedures
• Thyroidectomy (partial/total)

Gynecology

• Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy
• Anterior/Posterior Repair (Colporrhaphy)
• Bilateral tubal ligation
• Dilation & Curettage
• Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures

Neuro/Spine

• ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion)
• Craniotomy
• Kyphoplasty
• XLIF (Extreme Lateral Interbody Fusion)

Ophthalmology

• Cataract extraction/implant

Oral / Dentistry

• Adult Dentistry

Orthopedics / Podiatry

• Ankle fusion
• Bunionectomy
• Arthroscopy
• Closed reduction of fractures
• Laminectomy/Discectomy
• Open reduction of fractures
• Total joint replacement

Plastics

• Procedures within plastic surgery service line

Holiday Expectations:

• If 1 major holiday occurs in assignment: traveler works it
• If 2 major holidays occur: traveler works both
• If 3 major holidays occur: traveler works 2

Major Holidays:
New Year’s Eve & Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve & Day
