Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Position Overview

As a Right-of-Way Specialist, you'll support our engineering and infrastructure projects by assisting with land acquisition and coordination tasks. You'll work closely with experienced team members to learn the ROW process and contribute to successful project delivery.

Position Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing documentation for temporary and permanent easements and fee acquisitions
  • Support ROW coordination efforts under guidance of senior staff
  • Conduct basic property research and help review title documents
  • Help maintain project records and databases
  • Participate in site visits and public meetings as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have an understanding of the property acquisition process and/or property transfers as well as strong management, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. There must also be a demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet schedules and budgets, and participate in public meetings. The ability to work in a professional and interdisciplinary team environment is also required.

Minimum Education & Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, engineering, urban planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; exposure to GIS or CAD is a plus
  • Interest in learning ROW procedures and regulations (training provided)

Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
