Your Responsibilities - Conducting holistic patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and establishing tailored care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, either independently or in collaboration with physicians based on your credentials
- Providing education to patients and their families regarding prevention, wellness, and disease management
- Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your practice's regulations
- Engaging in patient follow-up and overseeing chronic care management

Education Requirements - A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
Certification Prerequisites - Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure within New York
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a specialty equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to secure these within 90 days)
