Marine Administrative Assistant

 

We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support for boat sales and service to facilitate sales. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. If you have previous experience as a secretary or administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you.

 

Responsibilities

  • List new boats as they come in for all locations. Take appropriate pictures and videos for website. Remove out of stock inventory from site.
  • Website Aesthetics – Communicate/Collaborate with Dealer Spike for necessary changes
  • Create Boat Window Stickers as they arrive and keep folders current
  • Data entry new product into TCS program, boats/trailers/motors for all locations.
  • Warranty register boat/motor/trailer
  • Social Media ideas
  • Tag inventory as it arrives
  • Send invoices to finance
  • Create work orders for boats
  • Wildlife Registrations
  • Design Ads/Graphics for marketing
  • Assist with events/boat shows
  • Travel to other locations occasionally

Skills

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
  • Job Type: Full-time with benefits
