We are seeking a skilled, experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems. Must be able to work on boiler. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems according to specifications and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity.
• Weld components as necessary for repairs or installations.
• Design and implement system upgrades or modifications as needed to improve performance, including estimating new equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components.
• Experience as a service technician with a focus on HVAC/R applications.
• Must know how to work on boilers.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Ability to weld metal parts for system repairs or installations.
• Familiarity with all trade principles as they relate to HVAC systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
