Position Type: Full-time salary position which is eligible for bonus based on performance. Job Summary The HVAC Field Service Manager is responsible for leading and developing a team of service technicians to achieve operational excellence, high customer satisfaction, and revenue goals. This role involves monitoring performance metrics, providing structured technical training, handling escalated customer concerns, and ensuring the team meets closing targets. Performance Management: Monitor technician KPIs to track productivity, efficiency, and sales performance. Training & Development: Provide on-the-job training to improve technical skills and service quality. Conduct structured, in-person technical training sessions within designated time slots. Team Meetings: Lead and coordinate weekly service meetings to align team goals, share updates, and address challenges. Customer Relations: Handle escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure high satisfaction and retention. Field Support: Accompany junior technicians on callbacks to guide troubleshooting and resolution processes. Drive the service team to maintain a minimum 75% close rate on all jobs. Education & Experience 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience. 2–3 years of management or leadership experience in a service environment. 2–3 years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams. Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work occasional weekends or evenings to help meet operational needs. Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English Supervisory Responsibilities This is a supervisory role that may include overseeing and managing a team or department. Indoor & Outdoor Environment: This position requires working both indoors and outdoors at retail and other designated locations (farmer's markets, town events). Weather conditions will vary based on the season. Warehouse Environment: This position is based in a warehouse, which serves as a base for many of our operations and includes equipment and material storage areas. Customer settings: This position is based in customer settings and will require work in and out of doors, including in attics, basements, small-confined spaces, and rooftops. Physical Demands Requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time, performing tasks on a computer, the ability to move within the office to attend meetings, access equipment, or interact with colleagues. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, crawl, or kneel in confined spaces. The employee may be required to lift up to 60 pounds, and must be able to climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, stand on roofs, and move up and down stairs safely.
