Job Description
Coulson Excavating Co Inc is looking for a versatile Heavy Equipment Mechanic . This position will perform mechanical repairs on diesel powered mobile equipment as well as aggregate and asphalt plant equipment (loaders, dozers, crushers, conveyors, etc.) Responsibilities include trouble shooting and repairs of heavy equipment, rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance on all types of diesel-powered equipment. This is a full time position that may require long hours, overtime, and possible weekend work with an average of 48-50 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities + Duties
Analyze, troubleshoot, tear down and repair. Advanced knowledge of engines, drive train. brakes, and electrical and hydraulics. Team player, problem solving, Communication. Critical thinking and analytical skills.
Required Education and Experience
3-5 years heavy equipment experience, a valid CDL (Class A or B) and excellent driving record
